There are several textbooks related to tropical medicine that could be of interest to students of tropical medicine:
The Oxford Handbook of Tropical Medicine (Oxford University Press. 5th Edition, 2021) is comprehensive as well as being light and easy to travel with.
Manson's Tropical Diseases (Elsevier. 24th Edition, 2023) is comprehensive and an excellent reference book, but heavy to travel with!
Tropical Medicine Lecture Notes (Beeching & Gill. Wiley Blackwell. 7th Edition, 2014) is medium-sized and attractive to read, although missing some topics.
Principles of Medicine in Africa,(Cambridge University Press. 4th Edition, 2013) is a comprehensive textbook with a focus on Africa.
Clinical Cases in Tropical Medicine (Rothe et al. Elsevier. 1st Edition 2014, 2nd Edition 2020). This book uses a case-based approach and is particularly useful for revision after you have acquired some basic knowledge.
The WHO Pocket book of hospital care for children (second edition, 2013) has been written for use by doctors, nurses, and other health workers who are responsible for the care of young children at first-level referral hospitals.
Creepy Dreadful Wonderful Parasites: This blog has only parasitology images but provides a tremendous number of beautiful images and a weekly quiz.
Wilderness Medicine practice tests (Utah School of Medicine): This website is for 'wilderness medicine', not directly tropical medicine, but contains some questions relevant to tropical medicine.
